First a few thoughts about the Nano X1 shoe line: They are terrific for me.

1. I have wide feet, so I love extra wide toe box. No need to search for special "EE" size training shoes. These are just as good.

- I love that they are offered with just a bit of drop, so that they are practical for the running component of crossfit workouts. Yet not so much that I roll forward in squat positions or neglect key lower body muscles. The padding is more akin to lifting shoes versus real padded runing shoes, despite being more "run-focused" than its predecessor, the Nano X.

- These shoes can take a beating with their hard frame. The support is holding up well after 6+ crossfit sessions and some casual wear.

- Other review criticize the rigidness of the heel. I understand, but actually like this rigidness. It gives the support I need. I don't exprience chafing because I wear thick socks that protect my heel and lower leg.

Now about this special Goodr model:

- I love the color and the extra pair of sunglasses enclosed. I wear the yellow-framed glasses all the time, and get compliments!

- But the white exterior will smear to dark grey quickly. It's notable after just one workout. Consistent contact with black padded mats are the main cause. You can wash it off. But better to just ignore it and wear those black stains with pride. It shows you're actually using these shoes for their intended purpose.
