So we bought these when our well dried up just incase . All was well till one day recently our over flow pipe was running we realised the Babcock in the tank broke easy fix tho when my husband was up there he noticed bugs in the water we were stick to our stomachs that we had been drinking it but anyway I tested the water with these strips . It showed a negative result for any bacteria was so glad . We contacted the water people who wanted to do there own test costing us again more money but for safety reasons we wouldn’t chance it .

The results showed 23 counts of E. coli. Something this test strip is supposed to show big fail and a huge risk to health we have 5 children one own 7 months . It’s a scary thought .

Don’t trust these strips .

Detecta varias bacterias y en 15 minutos esta el resultado.
Una pena que no vengan las instrucciones en castellano pero con un traductor básico lo he traducido

Einfache Anwendung. Positiver Stresstest steht noch aus… bisher waren die Testergebnisse (Hot Tube) [zum Glück] positiv.

It arrived on time was well packed and did what it said it would do. Looked up a youtube video just to check I was doing right. Testing hot tub for pseudamonas I got a negative result which was great. However as I understand it, the maximum measure allowed is 10cfu/100ml whereas this measures to 1,000cfu/ml so not really sensitive enough for anything more than a very general indication. I should have understood this before buying it.
