Author Bio— (corrected version as of 8-14-2012) John Horvat II is a scholar, researcher, educator, internationally recognized speaker, and author. His writings have appeared worldwide including in the Wall Street Journal as well as other publications and websites. For more than two decades he has been researching and writing about the socio-economic demise of the United States that has culminated in the ground breaking release of his new book RETURN TO ORDER. Recognized as one of the most important books on the subject to be published in the past ten years, Mr. Horvat describes what went wrong in our economic model and what can now be done to put us back on course. I greatly appreciated this book. Plenty of authors have written about the problems faced by our society and have given their ideas for solutions, but I believe Horvat's approach is unique in that it is both deep and realistic. Many traditionalists who critique our current economic system propose antiquarian solutions, arguing that we need to abandon modern technology and return everyone to the land. Horvat does not take this path, but rather lays out a vision for a vibrant, modern economy that is in line with the true social teachings of the Church. With our economic system currently looking good again on a superficial level, this book may not be getting as much attention as it should at present, but when things go south again, anyone in any sort of leadership role should pick up a copy for some great thoughts as to how to get us back on track.
