È il nostro libro preferito, lo avevamo già nella versione italiana e ho deciso di acquistarlo anche in inglese per leggerlo a mio figlio di 6 anni. Un ottimo modo per aiutare i bambini a familiarizzare con l'inglese in età prescolare.

Come sempre con prime è arrivato il giorno dopo l'ordine. Il libro è molto bello e i disegni adatti a catturare l'attenzione dei piccolini! Non lo conoscevo ma è carinissimo e adatto per iniziare ad introdurre l'inglese con poche semplici frasi

Un bel libro davvero, al mio bimbo di due anni piace molto. Bei disegni e bei colori. I protagonisti sono Small e Large, facilmente adattabili al maschile o al femminile. Nel nostro caso Small è sempre il mio bimbo che identifica Large con “Mummy” o “Daddy” in base alla giornata... consigliato!

A good read indeed. My 2 yo loves it. The characters are Small and Large and can easily adapted to boys/girls/mummies/daddies. Strongly recommended!

Niente da dire. La mia scelta di sempre. Per ora il bambino preferisce la versione italiana. Ovviamente. Ma certe piccole sfumature sono intraducibili in italiano e vale la pena la versione inglese. Gli ho lasciato una dedica. Sperando che da adolescente e da adulto lo rilegga.

In libro bellissimo, lo conoscevo già in italiano ma ho voluto acquistarlo in inglese.
Immagini belle e d’effetto, mia figlia ha 4 anni e lo adora

Bei disegni e storia carina, ma pensavo fosse un po' piu' diretto. Ai bimbi piccoli va proprio spiegato perché capiscano il significato. Lo ritireremo fuori un po' piú avanti.

Nostra figlia si è subito identificata con Little, bella storia: breve ma con un messaggio forte e molto apprezzato anche dalla piccola.

We picked this up at a secondhand bookstore for our son when he was a baby and I still read it to him. The story reads well and is a loving message. He has little brothers now so we read it to them now but it’s comforting for our oldest and he never complains about not wanting it read despite hearing it a million times.

I got it for a friend’s baby shower recently (her theme was books) and didn’t hesitate on which book to get her. It isn’t well known but I hope it turns into a go-to for others like llama llama red pajama has

Charming story about unconditional love

Great book. My two-year-old really likes it, and I think we both appreciate the message that parents still love their children even when the child is in a foul mood. There is a great deal of tenderness and humor in the illustrations. I also like that the child and parent in the book aren't gendered or identified beyond "Small" and "Large," so any child can fill in any parental figure.

Illustrations and text are an utter delight.
Good that the book does not skirt around the one awkward question but also that it doesn't labour it, but treats it the same as all the other questions - and that Large doesn't mock or disregard Small's ponderings as silly questions but treats them with the seriousness and reassurance they deserve.

Wonderful book! We read it at night time with my two year old son, and he loves it. It is the most comforting book, and very calming too.
It is the story of a little fox who becomes bored and puts his house upside down, and find wayside reasons to challenge his parent’s love. But the parents love is unwavering, in all situations and possibility.
The drawing is beautiful, and the rhyming is very soothing as well.
The two characters are called “large” and “small” which gives the person reading aloud the Liberty to customise a bit the story.

I bought this book for my 2 year old for Christmas, but I could not resist. I gave it to him right away. It is just the cutest and he loved the book as well.
